Der Juni dieses Jahres steht ganz im Zeichen von Innamind Recordings, einem der freshesten Labels, die in letzter Zeit aus der Dubstep-Szene hervorgegangen sind. Wir sind stolz, Euch Istanbul feinsten Produzenten Gantz und Innamind Recordings Chef Kursk präsentieren zu können.

Gantz ist einer der wenigen türkischen Producer, die den dunkleren Bass-Sound pushen: Konzentriert auf schwere Beats, beweist er Geschick und Originalität und baut bewegende Tunes, voll von perkussiven Elementen, die dem Zuhörer ein echtes Gefühl von Energie vermitteln. Einige von Euch werden sich noch an die mystische Stimmung erinnern, die er während seiner Berliner Premiere auf unserer IMPULSE Veranstaltung im April 2012 versprüht hat. Da unsere Faszination mit seinen stets innovativen Produktionen noch weiter gewachsen ist, mussten wir ihn einfach wieder buchen.

Kursk ist ein absoluter Badman, der hinter einem der interessantesten, wenn nicht sogar DEM interessantesten Label des letzten Jahres, Innamind Recordings steckt. Ursprünglich aus Neuseeland wohnt er mittlerweile in London, um näher am Geschehen zu sein. Erwartet nichts anderes als die frischesten Beats und Dubplates, die die innovativsten Tunes der Szene aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart repräsentieren. Kursk ist seit Mitte 2007 Dj und hat in ganz Großbritannien und Europa gespielt. Er hostet ausserdem eine wöchentliche Radio-Show auf Sub FM.

This June will be all about Innamind Recordings, one of the freshest quality labels to recently emerge on the Dubstep scene. We proudly present you Istanbul's finest, Gantz and Innamind's label bossman Kursk.

Gantz is one of a few Turkish producers pushing the darker bass sound: Focusing on creating a strong beat he skillfully and originally builds forward moving tunes, heavy in percussive elements, which relay a real sense of energy to the listener. Some of you might still remember the mystical vibes he spread during his Berlin debut at our IMPULSE event in April 2012. Since our fascination with his ever innovative productions even got stronger we just had to book him again.

Kursk is the absolute badman behind one off the, if not THE, most interesting labels from last year, Innamind Recordings. Hailing from the far away island of New Zealand, now residing in London, UK to be closer to the action. Expect nothing but the freshest beats and dub plates showcasing the scenes most innovating tunes from past and present. Kursk has been Djing since mid 2007 and has played across the UK and Europe. He also hosts a weekly radio show on one of the scenes most well known radio stations Sub FM.

Sie können es nicht lassen: Nach zwanzig Jahren Bandgeschichte, unzähligen Shows und Nebenprojekten kommen die Post-Hardcore Koriphäen BoysetsFire mit einer neuen Platte zurück! Hier ein Auszug aus dem offiziellen Statement der Band. Haltet besser die Taschentücher bereit, denn das wird ganz schön emotional: „BoySetsFire has been a band for nearly two decades. In that time we have played hundreds of shows to anyone
that would watch us, from basements to festival audiences. We live through the terror of rap‐rock, the tyranny of nu‐metal, and the dark days of pop‐punk. We were around before the internet. Truth. We made demo tapes. We have recorded 4 LPs, EPs, CDs, and even a Cassingle.We have played Rookie over 1,000 times. We have fallen off more stages than most people have stood on. We have been signed and dropped and signed and dropped. Frankly, most would have given up years ago. We tried. Like the most well‐meaning addict we swore it off, made our amends, and tried to rebuild our lives without BoySetsFire. But the lure was too much.We soon found ourselves in the same situations making the same decisions that lead to so much pain. Before we knew it we were on a reunion tour. It was amazing. Then we held our breath, crossed our fingers and started writing songs. What came out was music that was even more intense, more fragile and more brutal than anything we had done before. WHAT A PLEASURE !!! Endlich erfüllen wir Euch und natürlich uns selbst einen lange gehegten Wunsch: Gabriel Le Mar bei einem PRAXXIZ Event!

Er ist DJ, Live Act und Video-Künstler. Als Produzent und Remixer ist er weit über die Grenzen der elektronischen Musik hinaus geschätzt und begehrt. Große Namen wie Bob Marley, Xavier Naidoo, Juli, Ich+Ich, Die Fantastischen 4, Anne Clark, Paul van Dyk, A-ha, Sven Väth und viele mehr schmücken seine Diskographie. Er ist Member der "Saafi Brothers", "Subsonic Park" und "Aural Float".

Neben seinen musikalischen Projekten arbeitet Gabriel mit Aural Float auch an audiovisuellen Konzepten. Als wichtigstes ist wohl die SPACENIGHT zu nennen, bei der sie als Team die künstlerische Leitung hatten.

Im Spätsommer erscheint dann auch endlich das neue Album von Dr. Motte meets Gabriel Le Mar auf PRAXXIZ, sowie eine EP, mit den 4 besten Tracks aus zwei Jahren Stuio-Sessions der beiden "Brothers in Music". Wir wollen noch nicht allzu viel vorweg nehmen, nur soviel sei verraten: Urlaub für die Seele und Workout für die Füße.

He's a DJ, live act and video artist. For his productions and remixes he's well-known and highly appreciated far beyond the borders of EDM. Big names like Bob Marley, Xavier Naidoo, Juli, Ich+Ich, Die Fantastischen 4, Anne Clark, Paul van Dyk, A-ha, Sven Väth and so many more adorn his discography. In this process Gabriel likes to integrate himself in different artistic constellations with project pseudonyms such as "Saafi Brothers", "Subsonic Park" and "Aural Float" into ambient, space and experimental sound scapes...

Next to his music projects Gabriel also works with Aural Float on audiovisual concepts: as a team they did the artistic supervision of SPACENIGHT, a prototype of an integral TV-concept, utilizing spectacular film- and documentary footage from outer space with music made on earth. End-of-Days sound for the next generation. A spacy sound to accompany the viewer for hours in space. SPACENIGHT is a successful form of TV entertainment. Deep space in the wee hours - on the air since 1996.

With an open mind and always in a search for fresh musical experiences, Gabriel keeps on exploring electronic music.

Since 2007 Superstrobe is an international live act that played in many countries like Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Egypt, Ukraine, Slovenia, Switzerland, Poland, France … And of course, good old Germany. In april ’12 the former duo seperated cause each of them wanted to do his own way. In september we started the comeback of Manuel Winkler as solo-artist Superstrobe on Dr. Motte’s record label PRAXXIZ. The first single “Strip Down” (incl. a fantastic Da Fresh remix) jumped on position one of the Deejay.de vinyl presale charts and leaded the vinyl sales charts for weeks. Even the Japanese audience recently discovered Superstrobe for themselves!

Right after the release of his first solo album "REBOOT" Superstrobe was nominated for the PARTYSAN Award 2012 – believe it or not – in THREE CATEGORIES:
